How To Make An Elephant?
These instructions will show you how to fold an easy origami elephant. You will have to make two small cuts with scissors though. If you’re just starting out with paper folding we recommend that you check out our Beginner’s Guide first which will teach you all the basic folds and techniques.
Step 1)
Fold and unfold the paper in half both ways.
Step 2)
Fold both sides of the paper to the centre along the dotted lines.
Step 3)
Fold the bottom triangle of paper behind the model.
Step 4)
Fold both sides behind the model along the dotted lines.
Step 5)
Make a small cut along the two diagonal lines.
Step 6)
Fold out the cut flaps of paper along the dotted line.
Step 7)
Fold the top of the paper down along the dotted line.
Step 8)
Make two Pleat Folds along the dotted lines.
Step 9)
Make two Pleat Folds on the sides of the model.
