# Grand Tour: Installation

Hologit can be installed via [habitat](https://www.habitat.sh/) (best option in Linux environments):

$ hab pkg install -b jarvus/hologit

## Optional: watchman for working trees

Install `watchman` to enable watching working trees via [habitat](https://www.habitat.sh/) (best option in Linux environments):
