Adjustable Energy Storage Unit (AESU)
In IC² Experimental (since GregTech 4.03d)
The AESU is a Tier 5 Energy Storage Block. Its special feature is you can change the amount of energy it outputs (0 - 8192 EU/t) in its GUI. It has a Meta ID of 100. (1M EU = 1 million EU). For comparison purposes, the MFSU has a base storage of 40M EU, and can output 2048 EU/t.
In IC² Classic (before GregTech 4.03d)
The AESU is a Tier 4 Energy Storage Block. Its special feature is you can change the amount of energy it outputs (0 - 2048 EU/t) in its GUI. It has a base storage of 100M EU, which can be upgraded to 260M EU with 16 Energy Orb Upgrades. It has a Meta ID of 100. Before GregTech 3.07d, you could not upgrade nor cover the AESU and it had a Meta ID of 9. It could tolerate up to 2048 EU/p by default. (1M EU = 1 million EU). For comparison purposes, the MFSU has a base storage of 10M EU, and can output 512 EU/t.

In its GUI, left-click or shift-left-click the buttons on the left to adjust the energy output. The two slots on the right are for electrical item charging. The 4 slots on the far right are your armor slot, displayed for convenience.
