"Hightech Combination Smelter"
The Alloy Smelter is an electric machine used to create alloys, by smelting different metals together.
It can also recycle metal items to get back the ingots (like a furnace).
This machine can greatly accelerate the creation of metallic alloys, as with it you don't have to mix Dusts anymore; you can just smelt the Ingots together.
Before v4.04a, all Alloy Smelter recipes required the use of Ingots. As of v4.04a, Alloy Smelter recipes could use either Ingots or Dusts.

Maximum Safe Input :
32 EU/p (LV)

When smelting alloys, it uses 16 EU/t. When recycling items, it uses 3 EU/t. When combining Nuggets into Ingots, it uses 1 EU/t.

Special Upgrades:

Kanthal Heating Coil	Increases efficiency by 100%
Nichrome Heating Coil	Increases efficiency by 50%

Efficiency upgrades reduce the time (and EU cost) of recipes. The Kanthal Heating Coil must be applied before the Nichrome Heating Coil. Applying the first upgrade reduces all recipes' processing times and total EU costs by half. Applying both reduces all recpies' processing times and total EU costs by 2/3rds. (The first upgrade doubles the base speed, the second increases it to triple base speed.)
