> [!IMPORTANT]
> **A community resource for college freshmen and sophomores across all majors**, plus clearly identified incoming college freshman awards. Business, healthcare, arts, humanities, education, law, agriculture, science, engineering, and technology all belong here.
Hi, I'm [Jose Cruz](https://www.linkedin.com/in/josegaelcruz). I built this to help freshmen and sophomores find a starting point: an internship, a research mentor, a scholarship, or a chance to explore a career before junior year. Whatever you're studying β or still deciding to study β you deserve access to opportunities early in college.
Browse internships, fellowships, externships, research, scholarships, career programs, and campus leadership opportunities. We welcome every academic field, including accounting, consulting, medicine and public health, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, agriculture, music, journalism, theater, creative writing, social sciences, and the trades alongside STEM. Each listing targets first- or second-year college students or a clearly identified incoming college cohort. Check its major, institution, country, citizenship, coursework, and experience requirements; some programs accept all majors and others serve a specific field.
This is community-driven. If you find something, add it. Together we make the path clearer for everyone who comes after us.

2. A maintainer approves it β details are auto-extracted from the page
3. A maintainer adds it to the list

> [!WARNING]
> This list targets **college freshmen and sophomores in every major**. First- and second-year graduate or medical-school students are outside its scope. Clearly identified incoming college freshman awards appear in the relevant scholarship sections. General internships, all-year ambassador programs, professional conferences, school-age contests, and broad all-year aid belong outside the active list.

**Last expanded: October 14, 2026 (America/New_York).** The list contains **134 distinct open applications**. The latest research pass adds **28 applications across business, health, agriculture, arts, law, education, and research**, following the earlier 32 all-majors additions. Application checks were performed October 13β14; each entryβs evidence records its actual verification time. Entries target college freshmen/sophomores, or clearly identified incoming college freshman awards. Notification lists and expired sessions stay in [ARCHIVE.md](ARCHIVE.md). A working information page alone does not establish that applications are open.
See the [opportunity-by-opportunity audit](audits/2026-10-13.md), [category-expansion evidence](audits/2026-10-13-category-expansion.md), [all-majors expansion evidence](audits/2026-10-14-all-majors.md), and [additional opportunities and source checks](audits/2026-10-14-additional-majors.md) for eligibility, application checks, and archive reasons. Each distinct application appears once; related awards sharing a form are grouped. Application forms behind personal logins were verified through current official intake dates and functioning application entry points, without accessing private applicant accounts. βDate Postedβ records when a listing was added here, not the employerβs publication date.
