# Rhythm Heaven Groove **English** | [įŽäŊ䏿](rhythm-heaven-groove.zh-CN.md) **Required game files**: the v0 base NSP. No update is needed. ## Touch controls built for rhythm games - đ **Right half is A**: tap anywhere on the right half of the screen. A glow at your finger shows each press. - đ **Left half follows the level**: it becomes the button that the level needs, such as âŧ, â, âļ, or B. Levels that need several directions show a small glass D-pad instead. - đ̧ **Fewer buttons on screen**: B, â, and + are always available. Y and X show only in the levels that use them. The buttons cover less of the picture. - âī¸ **Multi-finger input**: press both halves at the same time. A very short tap still counts as a full press. - đĒ **BeatSpell**: the left half steps (B), the right half attacks (A), and the D-pad, X, and Y also show. - đĨ **Drum Lessons**: a full virtual controller with the D-pad, A, B, X, Y, ZR, â, and +. - đ° **Rhythm Toys**: in Who's Got Rhythm? and the sound boards, tap an item to select it, and tap it again to confirm. ## Menus by touch - đ **Direct menus**: tap menu items, lists, and the pause menu. Every visible row of a long list can be tapped. - đēī¸ **Level map**: drag the map left and right. Tap a level to select it, and tap it again to start it. ## Picture, sound, and performance - ⨠**Ambient border glow**: the letterbox borders glow with live colors from the edges of the picture. - đ **1080p rendering**: the game renders at 1920Ã1080. - đą **iPad layout**: on iPad, B, Y, X, â, and + move into the letterbox border above the picture. - đē **TV or handheld mode from the audio output**: Bluetooth, AirPlay, and HDMI audio switch the game to TV mode, which offers latency calibration. The built-in speaker and wired headphones use handheld mode. - ⥠**Faster BeatSpell**: the battle scenes skip unnecessary GPU waits. In a Mac test, the work per frame dropped from about 14.6 ms to about 9.5 ms. ## Screenshots
