Characterised by the introduction of new silhouettes and bright accents juxtaposed with glossy nudes and metallics, SS20 marks a new viewpoint for the brand, merging pop with surrealism and fostering the development of a unique design discourse. The collection is primarily inspired by the idea of listening before speaking, developing the brand’s signature theme of the face by extracting its components and treating them as abstract symbols. The result is a playful season full of surprises, in which lips and ears appear on heels, embossed in leather, and alongside the brand’s most recognisable elements. The idea of LISTEN, LOVE, SPEAK merges timeless philosophical references with the brand’s constant source of inspiration found in the world of art - from ancient sculptures to irreverent surrealism. The designs balance between what we take and give to the world by listening and speaking, adding a new layer of information and dimension to the collection. The brand’s design vocabulary is expanded once more, combined with a striking use of colour, texture and pattern.
Materials merge the classic with the avant-garde, from glossy patent nudes to neon textile details and outstanding choice of leathers.
