Metal Earth Checklist is provided by Stone Brook Audio Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

### Information stored on your device

The app stores your checklist data on your device, including model collection status, built status, favourites, wishlist items, quantities, notes, photos you add, backups you create, and app settings.

### Account and community information

If you create or use a community account, we may collect:

- Your display name, email address, and authentication details.
- Social feed posts, comments, images, reports, moderation actions, and timestamps.
- Friend requests and friend relationships.
- Your collection sharing preference.
- A collection snapshot, such as model identifiers, checked/built/favourite/wishlist status, and quantity, when you are signed in and use community collection features.
- Device push notification tokens if you choose to enable notifications.

### Purchase information

Premium purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The app may receive purchase status information from Google Play so it can unlock paid features.

### Technical information

The app and community service may process basic technical data needed to operate the service, such as network requests, error information, timestamps, and service logs.

## How We Use Information

We use information to:

- Provide checklist, backup, notes, photo, favourites, wishlist, and premium app features.
- Provide community features such as feed posts, friend requests, collection viewing, moderation, reports, and notifications.
- Sync and update the model catalogue.
- Protect the community from spam, abuse, and misuse.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the app and service.
- Respond to support requests.

## Collection Sharing Controls

Community collection viewing is controlled by your privacy setting in the app:

- Friends only: only confirmed friends can view your shared collection snapshot.
- Everyone: signed-in community users can view your shared collection snapshot.
- No one: other users cannot view your shared collection snapshot.

Other users can only view shared collection information that the app makes available through this feature. They cannot edit your collection.

## Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services to operate:

- Google Play for app distribution, purchases, and related platform services.
- Cloudflare for hosting the community API and related service infrastructure.
- GitHub for hosting public catalogue data and this Privacy Policy.

These services process information according to their own privacy policies.

## Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only when needed to operate the app and community service, comply with legal obligations, protect users and the service, or with your consent.

## Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, restore from backup, or uninstall the app.

Community account data is kept while your account is active or as needed to operate, moderate, secure, and maintain the service. You can delete your community account in the app where available, or contact us at info@stonebrookaudio.co.uk to request help with deletion.

Some information may remain in backups, logs, or records for a limited time where needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

## Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at info@stonebrookaudio.co.uk.

## Your Choices

You can:

- Use the main checklist features without creating a community account.
- Change your collection sharing setting in the app.
- Delete local app data by resetting or uninstalling the app.
- Delete your community account where available in the app.
- Contact us at info@stonebrookaudio.co.uk with privacy questions or requests.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
