**Unlock&Learn does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or sensitive user data whatsoever.**

* **Local Data Only:** All data, including your user-created flashcard decks, study progress, and local settings, is processed and stored **only locally on your device**. This information is not accessible by the developer or any third party.
* **No User Accounts:** The App does not require or support user accounts, login credentials, or the collection of unique personal identifiers (such as name or email address).

## 2. Permissions Used

The App requires specific permissions to function. These permissions are used strictly for the following purposes and are not utilized to collect personal data:

* **Storage/Photo Access (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`):**
    * **Purpose:** This permission is used **only** to allow the user to select an optional image from their device's storage to use as the background for the flashcard display. The selected image is stored locally within the App's memory and is never transmitted off the device.
* **Internet Access (`INTERNET`):**
    * **Purpose:** Used solely to **download pre-installed flashcard decks** from our server and to provide access to the optional Ko-fi support link. No user data is transmitted during this process.
* **Set Wallpaper (`SET_WALLPAPER`, `BIND_WALLPAPER`):**
    * **Purpose:** Used to allow the user to activate the App as their Live Wallpaper, which is the mechanism that enables the flashcard display on the lock screen.

## 3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

Since the App does not collect any personal user data, **we do not share any data with third parties.**

* **External Links:** The App includes an **optional link to Ko-fi** for users who wish to support the developer. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data collection of this external site.

Bing (Microsoft):

Purpose: If you select the "Bing" background option, the app retrieves the daily image from Bing servers (via bing.img.run proxy).

Data Shared: Your IP address is visible to the service provider when fetching the image.

## 4. Data Retention and Deletion

As the App does not collect or retain any personal data, there is no personal data for the user to request deletion of. Users can delete all locally stored flashcards and data simply by **uninstalling the App** from their device.
