# Changelog
[简体中文](CHANGELOG.zh-CN.md)
Published release notes are retained below; new versions are added without removing earlier entries.
## 1.2.6 - 2026-11-04
- **"Move to workspace" submenu now matches the host menu**:
- The submenu is built from the host's own menu surface and rows, so its material, corner radius and theme (third-party themes included) match the first-level menu; the hand-drawn dark border and the stray scrollbar are gone.
- Long workspace lists scroll inside the submenu, and on short windows its height now stays inside the screen instead of running past the bottom edge.
- It stays attached to its menu row while the menu scrolls or the window is resized, and no longer jumps to the other side when workspace names are long.
- The workspace a session already belongs to is no longer offered as a move target.
- "Move to workspace" is hidden on hosts that cannot provide the official menu building blocks, instead of being drawn with plugin styling.
- Screen readers are told that the row opens a menu and which element it controls.
## 1.2.5 - 2026-11-04
- **Workspace and Session Context Menu Polish**:
- Aligns "Archive workspace" and host "Delete workspace" into the same management group at the bottom of the workspace context menu, eliminating unnecessary divider lines;
- Hardens settings section and navigation icon registrations on older hosts, preventing missing settings tabs;
- Refines native context menu detection and fallback handling across different host environments.
## 1.2.4 - 2026-11-03
- **Session Context Menu Layout and Ordering Optimization**:
- Prioritizes "Favorite / Unfavorite" to the very top as the first menu item for quick access;
- Relocates destructive "Delete session" to the very bottom as the last item;
- Fully dual-mode compatible: uses native context menus on newer DSH Web releases while gracefully adjusting slot orders on older hosts.
## 1.2.3 - 2026-11-03
- **Compatibility with latest DSH Web (0.2.2-alpha.3+) and context menu overhaul**:
- Fixes missing session context menu actions (delete session, favorite, move to workspace) under the latest Web host;
- Fixes missing workspace context menu items ("Archive workspace sessions", "Copy workspace path", etc.);
- Seamlessly integrates workspace actions into the host's native context menu system with reactive session count updates and native icon styling;
- Fully retains backward compatibility across all previously supported host releases.
## 1.2.0 - 2026-11-03
- **Entry placement upgraded to 3-state control** (#103):
- Replaces the single sidebar toggle in plugin settings with a native 3-state segmented control (All locations / Sidebar only / Settings only), preventing accidental panel loss caused by disabling both entry points;
- Choosing "Sidebar only" unregisters the "Archived sessions" entry from the settings dialog for a cleaner settings view;
- Shows an inline error message when saving entry placement fails, preventing silent rollbacks;
- Automatically migrates existing configurations seamlessly with full backward compatibility.
## 1.1.22 - 2026-10-30
- Add folder icons beside workspace names in the “Move to workspace” submenu, making destination workspaces easier to recognize.
## 1.1.21 - 2026-10-30
- Fix failure deleting active sessions with corrupt transcripts or missing tool call IDs (#101):
- Resolves an issue where sessions failed mid-turn due to missing `toolCallId` or format errors (such as `SessionFormatError: format v4 tool/result requires toolCallId matching its tool source`) could not be deleted from the sidebar context menu because the host's flush barrier re-threw the corruption error.
- Caches live session headers prior to deletion and degrades flush barriers into fail-soft operations, ensuring write handles are detached and transcript directories/workspace memberships are cleanly purged even when transcripts are damaged.
## 1.1.20 - 2026-10-30
- Remove dead legacy workspace browser code and unconsumed locales (#100):
- Cleans up legacy store factory, migration helpers (`WorkspaceView`), obsolete derivation functions (`deriveGroups`, `deriveFlat`, `deriveSearchResults`, etc.), and outdated test fixtures left behind from the historical workspace browser removal.
- Decouples from `@deepseek-ai/dsh-client-store` by removing its unreferenced client require and stripping it from `peerDependencies`, making host environment requirements strictly minimal.
- Prunes 67 unconsumed i18n keys and orphaned CSS rules across Chinese, English, and Russian dictionaries to reduce bundle size and maintenance overhead.
## 1.1.19 - 2026-10-29
- Add toggle to hide sidebar favorite star (#99):
- Provides a "Sidebar favorite star" switch on the plugin detail card (**Settings → Plugins → Archive Manager**), enabled by default.
- When disabled, completely hides the star icon on sidebar session rows, removes DOM containers, and unloads row override stylesheets. This restores the front slot to its native layout on hover, preventing conflicts with host status indicators and third-party skins like orca-link.
- Retains all favorite capabilities: session menu actions (Favorite / Unfavorite), the view menu's "Favorites only" filter, and archive panel favorites remain fully functional.
## 1.1.18 - 2026-10-27
- Fix conflict where sidebar favorite star covers native session status dots (#92):
- Ensures host primary status dots (e.g. running spinner and waiting approval dots) remain fully visible during active states and are no longer faded out on hover.
- When a starred session is active, the star badge adapts into a 10px icon in the bottom-right corner with a subtle drop shadow, allowing both status progress and favorite state to coexist cleanly.
- Automatically restores the star to its standard 16×16px centered position as soon as the session returns to idle.
## 1.1.17 - 2026-10-27
- Full-row right-click context menu support in sidebar:
- Supports triggering workspace and session actions menus by right-clicking anywhere on the corresponding row.
- Tightens button detection to gracefully pass through the system context menu for ungrouped workspace rows and blank unpersisted sessions, preventing accidental clicks on create or favorite buttons.
- Star favorite icon alignment and zero-jitter optimization:
- Aligns favorite star icon to standard 16×16px size and overlays host leading slot.
- Uses absolute positioning over the leading slot to eliminate horizontal title jitter in sidebar rows.
- Fades out underlying leading status dots only on hover or when favorited.
- Archive settings page visual unification and compactness:
- Adopts unified drawer cards for workspace groups, aligning visual style with Skills Manager.
- Compacts session row height to 40px for increased information density.
- Reverts checkbox styling to host primitive specification using `accent-color`, seamlessly adapting to dark mode and eliminating solid white block glitches.
- Modal dialog anti-bleedthrough and accessibility enhancements:
- Mounts preview and confirmation dialogs to document root via `portalToBody`, resolving container-type clipping and text bleedthrough.
- Adds localized accessible labels across zh/en/ru for modal close buttons (`common.close`).
- Settings section ID standardization and coexistence compatibility (#91):
- Updates settings section ID to `archive-manager` with runtime fail-soft `try/catch` protection, resolving registration collisions with third-party archive plugins.
## 1.1.16 - 2026-10-26
- Fix cross-platform path validation for opening folder in system explorer under Linux/POSIX environments, supporting both Windows and POSIX absolute path schemes.
- Fix sidebar star DOM child index conflict with custom theme skins like orca-link (#90): mount the star at the row end via `row.appendChild` and arrange visual order via CSS Flex `order: -1` and `order: -2` for the leading cell, preserving `:nth-child(2)` title and `:nth-child(3)` timestamp positioning and eliminating title truncation to 44px right-aligned.
- Add quick actions to workspace "..." menu with concise labels:
- "Copy folder path" (`复制目录`): Copies the absolute workspace folder path to clipboard.
- "Open folder" (`打开目录`): Opens the workspace folder directly in the system file explorer (Windows Explorer, macOS Finder).
- "Archive sessions" (`归档会话`): Batch archives all unarchived conversations in the workspace.
- Add "Move to workspace" hover submenu to session "..." menu:
- Expands target workspaces on hover with dynamic viewport overflow prevention and slim scrollbar styling.
- Implements process-level quiescence, atomic file rewriting, and pre-rewrite workspace static snapshotting to eliminate double-accounting.
- Immediately warms the projection cache using real events to eliminate temporary "untitled" title flicker after moving.
- Safely escapes colon and `@` characters for IM channel sessions on Windows NTFS filesystems with guarded rollback.
- Align and streamline workspace and session menu ordering and labels:
- Workspace menu: Rename -> Copy folder path -> Open folder -> Archive sessions -> Delete workspace.
- Session menu: Favorite/Unfavorite -> Pin/Unpin -> Rename -> Fork session -> Archive session -> Copy Session ID -> Move to workspace -> Delete session.
## 1.1.15 - 2026-10-26
- Fix sidebar star DOM child index conflict with custom theme skins like orca-link (#90): mount the star at the row end via `row.appendChild` and arrange visual order via CSS Flex `order: -1` and `order: -2` for the leading cell, preserving `:nth-child(2)` title and `:nth-child(3)` timestamp positioning and eliminating title truncation to 44px right-aligned.

- Session menu: Favorite/Unfavorite -> Pin/Unpin -> Rename -> Fork session -> Archive session -> Copy Session ID -> Move to workspace -> Delete session.
## 1.1.14 - 2026-10-26
- Add a sidebar session star (#89 by @DSLM): a star sits left of each session title in its own container right after the host's leading slot — always visible once favourited, hover-only otherwise — and reads/writes the plugin's existing favourite set; the session "…" menu gains a matching Favourite / Unfavourite row for keyboard use.
- Add a "Favourites only" filter (#89 by @DSLM): View options → Filter sessions gains a switch that narrows the sidebar to favourited sessions (empty workspaces and "Expand the remaining N" collapse too, and folded groups are expanded before filtering); the state lives in `localStorage` and no session or archive data is touched.
- Fix ungrouped session visibility under filter: support host empty-string group key so favourited ungrouped sessions inside folded overflow sections remain discoverable and auto-expand properly.
- Improve concurrent favourite state reliability: apply delta rollbacks per session id on failure and preserve in-flight pending locks during background adoptions, preventing race-condition UI resets.
- Align menu item ARIA attributes: adopt `role="menuitemcheckbox"` and `aria-checked` on filter switches to match WAI-ARIA standards.
## 1.1.13 - 2026-10-26
- Add opt-in official list-cache rebuilding (#88). Opening Archive Manager checks only stored headers and official cached projections for ordinary cold sessions in registered workspaces, ungrouped lists, or archives, while filtering out special IM channel sessions (`im:`). A repair card appears only when needed. Clicking reads logs sequentially through read-only handles and calls official `coldSnapshot`, without opening sessions, calling models, changing archives/schedules, importing old caches, or writing JSON directly.
- Accelerate diagnostic scanning: prioritize the host workspace registry's in-memory header snapshot to avoid expensive full-disk JSONL log inspections that can cause client timeouts.
- Improve operation feedback UX: add a "Done" dismiss button to the rebuild feedback card, and automatically dismiss the panel when refreshing lists if no repair candidates remain.
- Confirm persistence through bounded official cache readback, retain per-session failures for retry, and refresh the official session list. Rebuilds and deletion share the workspace operation queue; late writes after a confirmation timeout remain ordered before deletion on the official domain chain.
- Use authoritative per-session persistence `stat` before and after each rebuild read instead of rescanning the entire stored-header list twice per target; retain lifecycle and activity checks and the official cache write/deletion ordering.
- Detect resolved official list refresh failures from the public list state, including archive/restore/delete refresh paths. Show refresh errors separately without reporting successfully persisted caches as failed saves.
- Extend isolated compatibility checks to all ten currently published 0.2.x alpha/RC hosts, including real JSONL logs, official JSON cache close/reopen, deletion timing, activity and same-ID lifecycle tests. This does not certify unpublished future hosts.
## 1.1.12 - 2026-10-24
- Upgrade host admission policy: Declare `engines.dsh: ">=0.2.0-rc.1 <0.3.0-0"` to support the entire DeepSeek Harness `0.2.x` line (including `0.2.0-rc.1` onwards, future alphas, RCs, and stable releases) without requiring routine plugin version bumps.
- Decouple peerDependencies locks: Broaden all `@deepseek-ai/dsh-*` peer dependencies to the `0.2.x` generation range.
- Upgrade build-time development dependencies: Synchronize all 24 `@deepseek-ai/dsh-*` devDependencies to latest `0.2.1-rc.3`.
## 1.1.11 - 2026-10-24
- Remove session turn counting and turn-based sorting: purged background batch uncompressed event reading logic for counting dialogue turns (sessionDetails / turnCount / countConversationTurns), removed turn indicators from session metadata rows, and removed "Most/Fewest turns" sort options, significantly reducing CPU and disk IO overhead during list navigation.
- Remove obsolete session log mutation and repair logic: purged the defunct diagnoseSession and repairSession methods along with the session-repair module, removing the log error warning banner from the UI. Orphan subagent cleanup is now directly integrated into the Organizer panel for clean one-click reclamation.
- Support detecting and cleaning up orphan subagents left behind by external deletions (#72): verify physical artifact absence to confirm parent deletion, accurately recognize both regular and context-seeded subagents (excluding user fork branches), and enforce safety gates in cleanup to prevent deleting live subagents.
- Support sorting by recently archived order (#75): added a "Recently archived" option to the sort menu in the archived sessions view, ordering sessions and projects based on the host's archive queue order so newly archived chats can be quickly found and restored.
- Remove all historical projection-cache scanning, identity checks, and handoff logic (#76), so activation no longer waits for per-record session-log reads. Cache rebuilding is host-owned and on demand; permanent deletion directly removes the cache row without suppressing later official writes.
- Align date range filter text color: removed the faded placeholder styling when no date is selected, matching the primary text color used by adjacent view and project dropdown buttons.
- Remove automatic full-log reads and official projection-cache write-backs when opening the archive list, along with the follow-up list refresh. Archive metadata only returns header creation times; preview and search remain available.
- Remove the historical file-upload resolver conflict shim: the current entry overlays the official workspace instance without replacing the service or restarting `sessionController`; the plugin no longer mutates the global `fileUploads` registrar.
- Remove all write-barrier and workspace deletion tombstones for permanent deletion. Deletion directly removes transcript directories, cleans the official cache row, and clears in-memory indexing; subsequent cache writes and host indexing follow native behavior.
- Upgrade boundary: historical plugin cache files are no longer read or automatically deleted. Cold sessions without official cache entries may initially lack list titles; log reads recover titles, and restoring a live session lets the host persist its cache. No extra activation is required to import old caches.
## 1.1.10 - 2026-10-24
- Support DeepSeek Harness `0.2.1-rc.3` while retaining all existing supported versions.
## 1.1.9 - 2026-10-24
- Redesigned the filter toolbar with a single-line adaptive layout (#74): the search input now uses the host's native `Input` primitive with an `IconSearchOutlineMedium` search icon and glowing green focus border; rearranged control order to search input, view filter/sort menu, project filter, and date range, with the input flexibly expanding to fill remaining width.
- Added in-house lightweight single-field DateRange capsule and calendar popover: eliminated native `` glitches such as dark-mode inversion and click-away focus loss (#74); displays the selected range in a single line with a dedicated clear button; the popover supports quick presets (All time, Today, Last 7/30/90 days), localized month/weekday headers in Chinese, English, and Russian, and full WAI-ARIA keyboard navigation (arrows, Home/End, PageUp/Down with month-end clamping).
- Consolidated filters and sorting into a Codex-style composite menu: merged \"All sessions / Favorites only\" and sorting options into a two-section dropdown, using the host `Menu`'s native checkmark primitive instead of hand-drawn icons.
- Search scope optimization: removed the manual title/content scope toggle, defaulting automatically to unified full content and title search across conversations in the active tab.
- Box model fix and folder icon removal: resolved text overflow in the project selector that previously overlapped the adjacent date picker's dropdown chevron, ensuring a clean 8px gap between controls; removed folder icons from project selector for a cleaner native look.
## 1.1.8 - 2026-10-23
- Added primary sidebar navigation entry and dedicated workspace panel: users can now access Archive Manager directly from the first-level sidebar, opening a 960px centered workspace view. The entry can be toggled on or off at any time via the `sidebarEntry` switch in plugin configuration (`plugins.bundle.config` slot).
- Added toggleable online updates and host-level security locking: added an `onlineUpdate` switch in plugin configuration. Disabling it immediately hides the "Check for updates" button and version badge in the header, and rejects update requests at the endpoint level. Environments requiring security compliance or curated catalog distribution can enforce `updater: false` (or `onlineUpdate: false`) in Cordis patch configuration to disable the updater at startup and lock the UI toggle.
- Added baseURI dynamic endpoint resolution for reverse proxies: API requests now resolve against document `baseURI` to preserve path prefixes when DSH is hosted under a reverse proxy or subdirectory, preventing 404 errors on update and settings routes.
- Unified the online feedback button icon to use the host's native `IconEditOutlineRegular`.
## 1.1.7 - 2026-10-22
- Fixed session titles or blank-session visibility changing after disabling Archive Manager (#71). The plugin no longer replaces the official projection-cache table; ordinary cache reads and writes remain host-owned.
- On activation, hand historical plugin checkpoints back to the official cache after checking session identity. Keep newer same-version official projections and official rows with different projection versions. Failed handoffs can retry on later activation; source cache files are retained.
- Archive and restore now use the official workspace APIs. Archiving an unknown session reports the official error instead of being skipped, and restore no longer reattaches a session that the workspace no longer lists. The plugin no longer blocks the official workspace update from dropping a member that has no path index.
- Preserve restore wrappers and validation installed before Archive Manager is enabled, and restore the original method and property descriptor on disable.
- Batch archive and restore share one serial loop. When one session gets an official error, the list or confirmation card keeps that reason and the rest continue. Successful items are not repeated. Batch delete still uses the official scoped call.
- Batch results no longer show a permanent zero for unprocessed items. The retry count is the failed items, so the organizer summary matches the retry button.
- Keep only the tombstones and in-flight write barrier needed for permanent deletion. Disabling removes those guards without closing the official cache service. The barrier tracks only tasks that entered through the guards; official cache writes started before activation cannot be reliably drained and may leave an orphan cache row after disabling in an exceptional interleaving. Closing this gap requires host-side write-drain support.
- Session repair parses individual Zstandard frames using an explicit boundary scanner, ensuring reliable single-frame header extraction and verification across Node 24.22+ and earlier versions.
- Upgrade note: users who disabled an older version must activate the fixed version at least once to hand off old records. Keys rejected by the official backend, such as IDs containing colons, remain in the legacy domain and return to native host behavior instead of receiving a replacement cache.
## 1.1.6 - 2026-10-19
- Fixed the "Archive all conversations" action appearing in a single session's action menu. The workspace menu context is now recorded only from workspace rows and cleared by session rows, other rows, or empty areas, so a stale workspace binding can no longer leak into a session menu.
- "Archive all conversations" now matches the official sidebar visibility: IM channel and scheduled-task sessions are no longer excluded; only archived, subagent, blank placeholder, and missing-summary sessions are skipped.
## 1.1.5 - 2026-10-19
- Let the archive settings page fill the host content column by removing the 760px cap and the dead centering override.
- Only decorate settings nav buttons that render the host `svg` as a direct child, so wrapped icons keep the host layout.
## 1.1.4 - 2026-10-19
- Fixed the sidebar workspace "Archive all conversations" action opening via keyboard with a missing or wrong workspace binding, and made its count and disabled state follow live session and archive changes.
- Bulk archiving now strictly targets regular tasks visible in the main sidebar, excluding IM channels, scheduled automation, subagents, blank drafts, and sessions without a loaded summary; the workspace delete item is also recognized when its copy changes.
- Archive failures now use localized messages and keep the retry path.
- The settings entry now uses an independent mask icon so third-party skins cannot hide the host SVG, and the Archived/Unarchived segmented indicator aligns with the 2px inset.
- Fixed settings modals hiding their footer below the fold on short viewports or long previews by moving content into its own scroll area while keeping the title and actions visible.
- Removed obsolete workspace dialog helpers and their tests.
## 1.1.3 - 2026-10-19
- Added "Archive conversations" to the native sidebar workspace actions menu (`...`), safely injected above "Delete workspace" with native styling, icons, and automatic disabled state when no archivable sessions remain.
- Confirmation is presented as a frosted-glass card (`ArchiveWorkspaceOverlay`) anchored right beside the targeted workspace row, featuring full keyboard accessibility (Tab / Shift+Tab looping, Escape to dismiss, and focus restoration to the workspace row).
- Strictly aligned batch archiving scope with visible sidebar task sessions: automatically excludes unstarted blank draft sessions (`blank: true`), IM channel sessions (WeChat, QQ, Discord routed to the Channels rail), automation scheduled sessions (routed to the Schedules rail), and child subagents.
- Enhanced the segmented tabs ("Archived / Unarchived") in Archive Settings with native 14px status outline icons and normalized overall control height to standard 32px matching host inputs and dropdowns.
## 1.1.2 - 2026-10-18
- Synchronously remove official projection cache records (`session_projcache/sessions/.json`) when permanently deleting a session, preventing orphaned files from lingering on disk and re-importing as blank ghost entries upon host launch (#65).
- Automatically prune orphaned projection entries when cleaning up corrupt or missing archived session records.
## 1.1.1 - 2026-10-18
- In the sidebar session menu, "Delete session" confirmation is now a neat floating card anchored right next to that session row instead of a full-screen overlay, matching the native translucent dark blur and lighting of host dropdown menus (#60).
- Fixed an issue where clicking "Delete session" from the sidebar without first opening the "Archived" settings page caused an unstyled confirmation dialog to drop to the bottom of the window (#59).
- Fixed punctuation in non-Chinese confirmation dialog titles (English and Russian no longer display a full-width question mark), and ensured dialog contents stay fully visible near screen edges without clipping action buttons.
- Improved keyboard navigation: opening the delete confirmation card focuses "Cancel" by default, pressing Escape or Tab works seamlessly within the card, and closing returns focus back to the session row.
## 1.1.0 - 2026-10-17
- Supported hosts are now DeepSeek Harness `0.2.0-rc.1`, `0.2.0-rc.2`, `0.2.1-rc.1`, and `0.2.1-rc.2`. Intermediate `0.2.1-alpha.*` releases and hosts before `0.2.0` are rejected by the version gate and this plugin will not run. If you still use a `0.1.x` host, install plugin `1.0.20` instead of `@latest`. Existing archives, favorites, and settings are kept.
- Archive filter bar stays on two aligned rows at normal widths: dropdowns size to their labels, the search box fills the first row, and the date range fills the second row with both date inputs stretching inside it. Below a 480px container the filter row wraps instead of clipping the dates, and narrow panels no longer stack the bar into five separate rows.
- Destructive confirmations (delete sessions, stop-and-archive, workspace archive or delete) now use a red outlined button aligned with the host warning pattern instead of a filled primary button. The batch selection bar's delete button uses the same treatment, and its leftover pre-host-button styles are removed. Sidebar dialogs no longer reference the host's hashed delete class, whose name changed across host versions and left those buttons unstyled.
- Icon-only buttons (favorite, restore or archive, more actions, sidebar card delete) now share one 22×22 outlined style: neutral gray with a blue hover, and always-red for permanent delete. Unused custom button styles are removed.
- Both "more actions" menus (session rows and project groups) now use the host menu's native icons: restore uses the unarchive glyph, delete the trash glyph, and the session menu gains icons for preview, copy ID, and copy path. The custom icon-label wrapper is removed.
- Self-update still bypasses the one-day release-age gate. After a successful install, the exact version is merged into that package's existing allowlist entry so later installs and uninstalls in the profile are not blocked.
- Removed client fallbacks that existed only for `0.1.x`: `client-runtime`, the plugin remote restore fallback, projection-cache `putSoft`, and replacing the official sidebar when it has no session menu slot.
## 1.0.20 - 2026-10-16
- Permanently deleting an archived session no longer fails just because the host cannot read a damaged transcript. The session files and archive record are removed, and a leftover list entry disappears without restarting DSH.
- If removal cannot be confirmed, the deletion stays incomplete and the archive mark is kept. It is not reported as deleted.
- Delete errors stay in the host's own wording. English and Russian screens no longer mix in a Chinese diagnosis.
- The archive confirmation window closes as soon as processing finishes, instead of staying open while the session list refreshes.
## 1.0.19 - 2026-10-15
- Keep JSONL latest-host mounting compatible with both Cordis `apply` (alpha.3+) and the older default constructor export; restore archived-path protection without rebinding the original `sessionPath`/`candidateMatches` references.
- Update latest-host fixture for JSONL persistence Cordis `apply` (class no longer exported) on DSH `0.2.1-alpha.3`.
- Adapt archived-session membership protection to DSH `0.2.1-alpha.3` `host.candidateMatches` (replaces the removed `host.sessionPath` filter) so mutate no longer drops archived rows that lack a path index.
- Support DSH `0.2.1-alpha.3` while retaining all existing supported versions; pin development `@deepseek-ai/dsh*` dependencies to host `0.2.1-alpha.3` and Cordis to `4.0.5-alpha.2`.
- Drop removed host package `@deepseek-ai/dsh-invariants` from development dependencies (gone since alpha.1).
- Remove ghost optional peer `@deepseek-ai/dsh-client-runtime` (package ended on the 0.1.x line; runtime fallback in the client bundle remains for older hosts that still ship it).
- Stop disabling missing `ui-settings-unarchive-sessions` in `cordis.patch.yml` so `dsh --dump-config` no longer warns that the patch entry was not found.
## 1.0.18 - 2026-10-13
- Add full Russian (`ru`) locale support across the archive manager workspace, tools, and update dialogues.
- Adjust settings section order to prevent navigation collisions.
## 1.0.17 - 2026-10-12
- Support DSH `0.2.1-alpha.2` while retaining all existing supported versions.
## 1.0.16 - 2026-10-08
- Session list cache is written to the plugin's safe folder again. It no longer falls back to the kernel folder without notice.
## 1.0.15 - 2026-10-07
- Official Desktop can update this plugin in place. It no longer targets the web profile by mistake.
- A new version is marked with a warning color. Version numbers keep their normal color.
- After updating, fully quit and reopen DSH Desktop.
## 1.0.13 - 2026-10-06
- The plugin list keeps the product name Archive Manager in Chinese as well as English, matching the other plugins. The settings page title is unchanged.
## 1.0.12 - 2026-10-06
- Disabling this plugin no longer disables the official workspace or projection cache, so creating a workspace keeps working. Archive behavior is installed on those live services and removed when this plugin stops.
- Diagnosis uses the same plugin entry as the archive page. Turning the plugin off and on again remounts those endpoints instead of leaving a separately disabled host row.
- Enabling the plugin again no longer fails when the update route is still registered.
- The plugin list shows a localized name and description, using the same locale metadata as Codex UI.
- Archive and delete confirmations stay inside the settings page, and a failed deletion shows its error so it can be retried.
- Installing from GitHub now includes the compiled runtime, so no manual build is required.
## 1.0.11 - 2026-10-01
- Batch delete of archived sessions now uses one storage listing and one host call. Deleted sessions are not put back into the in-memory index.
## 1.0.10 - 2026-09-30
- Official desktop can hot-reload this plugin without leaving sessionController unavailable. Web behavior is unchanged.
## 1.0.9 - 2026-09-30
- The copied sidebar row styles no longer cover the official workspace-tree indent. Current DSH keeps the official sidebar styles. Older hosts that still replace the sidebar use a private class prefix.
## 1.0.8 - 2026-09-30
- Works with DSH 0.2.0-rc.2. Supported versions from 0.1.2-rc.1 onward still work, and 0.1.5-rc.3 is now included.
- 0.1.0-rc.8 and 0.1.1-rc.2 are no longer supported.
- Supported DSH versions are 0.1.2-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.2, 0.1.5-rc.3, 0.1.7-rc.1, 0.1.7-rc.2, 0.2.0-rc.1, and 0.2.0-rc.2.
## 1.0.7 - 2026-09-28
- Works with DSH 0.2.0-rc.1. Versions that already worked still work.
- Supported DSH versions are 0.1.0-rc.8, 0.1.1-rc.2, 0.1.2-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.2, 0.1.7-rc.1, 0.1.7-rc.2, and 0.2.0-rc.1.
## 1.0.6 - 2026-09-27
- Batch delete no longer rereads the remaining archived sessions, so cleanup is faster.
- Diagnosis and repair can convert early reference-document and working-agreement sources as well as legacy automation sources. Message text and the original log stay unchanged.
- On DSH 0.1.7, legacy-source repair lets the host perform the format conversion.
## 1.0.5 - 2026-09-25
- Works with DSH 0.1.7-rc.2. Versions that already worked still work.
- Supported DSH versions are 0.1.0-rc.8, 0.1.1-rc.2, 0.1.2-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.2, 0.1.7-rc.1, and 0.1.7-rc.2.
## 1.0.4 - 2026-09-24
- The Archived sessions page follows the host palette. In dark mode the primary color stays the host info blue, and menus sit one step lighter than the fields.
- Supported DSH versions are 0.1.0-rc.8, 0.1.1-rc.2, 0.1.2-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.2, and 0.1.7-rc.1.
## 1.0.3 - 2026-09-23
- Works with DSH 0.1.7-alpha.1. Versions that already worked still work.
- The Archived sessions page is easier to scan: search, project, favorites, sort, and dates sit in two rows. A saved favorite shows a yellow star.
- Archiving a session that is still running asks you before it stops that work.
- When the session list already has its own menu, Delete is added there instead of replacing the list.
- You cannot switch between Archived and Unarchived while a batch is running.
## 1.0.2 - 2026-09-21
- Fix legacy session repair incorrectly rejecting Windows short and extended paths while retaining protection against directory links.
## 1.0.1 - 2026-09-21
- Fix navigation errors and incorrect turn counts when session data is malformed.
- Remove personal information from documentation screenshots and reduce package size.
## 1.0.0 - 2026-09-21
The first 1.0 release expands session organization, search, previews, and targeted repair since 0.1.44. The package name and existing data remain unchanged; no session migration is required. Existing archive, restore, permanent deletion, and native conversation navigation remain available.
### Lists and shared filters
- Archived and Unarchived share title/content search, project, favorites, and updated-date filters. Titles-only remains the default; switch scope on the left of the search box and open dates on the right. The end date includes the entire local day; dates can be cleared independently and the popover closes on outside clicks.
- Compact collapsible project groups provide clickable titles, right-side stars and archive/restore icons, and applicable More actions for restore-and-open, preview, copying, and deletion.
- Sort by update time, creation time, title, or most/fewest turns. Group counts follow filters and empty states match the active tab.
- Select all covers filtered results, including collapsed groups. Switching tabs clears selection; filtering preserves it and reports hidden selections. Project-wide actions remain independent of filters.
- Remove redundant page-wide Restore all / Delete all buttons while retaining selection-based and project actions. Operation results remain scoped to their tab.
### Favorites, idle cleanup, and batch actions
- Star or unstar on either tab and filter to favorites. Host-persisted favorites survive archive, restore, and browser changes. Unknown indexes and read failures do not remove favorites; cleanup requires confirmed artifact absence.
- On Unarchived, preview idle candidates using 1–36,500 whole days and the current filters; deselect individual candidates before confirmation. Exclude favorites, the current conversation, running sessions, pending interactions, and sessions with active subagents or no valid activity time.
- Recheck favorites and activity before archiving. Batch archive, restore, and delete show progress and successful/skipped/failed/remaining results. Stop at the first failure and retry only remaining items; delete retries still require confirmation.
- Undo the most recent successful archive batch, including successful retries, while the management page remains open. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
### Content search and quick preview
- Search persisted user and assistant text with snippets and highlights. Read failures remain visible and retryable; obsolete responses cannot replace results after filters change.
- Preview archived sessions without restoring them, showing context around the first match or up to eight recent messages. Unarchived snippets open the full conversation.
- Render Markdown tables, quotes, code blocks, and role labels, with a source/highlight mode, a wider dialog, and action icons.
- Fix Unicode offsets after case folding, split surrogate pairs on truncation, Escape closing Settings as well as preview, and previews reopening after tab switches.
### Turn counts and session location
- Show user submission counts on both tabs, including image submissions and inherited branch messages; exclude assistant replies, tool calls, and injected messages.
- Sort by most/fewest turns with unknown counts always last; inspect and retry detail failures.
- Copy session IDs and paths separately from More. Official JSONL storage exposes the session directory; other backends use a valid host-provided path. Missing paths and clipboard failures are reported explicitly.
### Diagnosis and targeted repair
- Collect archived read failures, including IDs without summaries, in collapsible diagnostic cards with classified advice and technical details.
- Prefer stable error codes for missing files, permissions, and corruption, with message-based compatibility fallbacks. Unavailable repair preserves the original classification and appends its limitation.
- Diagnose and explicitly confirm repair for supported legacy automation message sources. Eligibility depends on artifacts, host format validation, and a write lease, not just error wording. Sessions must be archived and closed in every DSH process.
- Retain original logs, text, automation attribution, and inheritance data. Publish a new generation only after host re-encoding and validation; create private repair files. Publication never overwrites existing logs and fails safely if hard links are unavailable.
### UI, localization, and compatibility
- Align selection, checkboxes, focus, warnings, updates, and highlights with official theme tokens; refine date controls, diagnostic cards, stars, and action icons.
- Complete Chinese/English diagnosis, preview, update, and error messages. Language changes no longer cause extra detail reads; fix copy-error and empty-state text.
- Refresh Archived/Unarchived screenshots and both READMEs, including filter, undo, repair, and search boundaries.
- Retain support for DSH 0.1.0-rc.8, 0.1.1-rc.2, 0.1.2-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.1, 0.1.5-rc.2, 0.1.6-alpha.1, and 0.1.6-alpha.2. Coexist with Codex UI; no new sidebar pinning or favorites features are introduced.
- searchSessionContent is the canonical API for both archive states. Keep searchArchivedContent as the archived-only compatibility entry for older hosts/clients; do not dispatch duplicate searches.
### Limits and validation
- Content search and turn counts have no persistent index. Read at most 20 sessions per batch, sequentially. Narrow filters for large or long logs; no scale or latency guarantee is established. In-flight batches cannot be interrupted; cancellation prevents subsequent batches and stale results.
- Queries accept up to 200 characters. Search excludes tools, attachments, reasoning, system messages, and plugin injections. Preview limits each message to 2,000 UTF-16 code units without splitting Unicode characters; open the native conversation for full content.
- No scheduled background archiving. Favorite protection applies only to idle cleanup. Reopen management to see favorites changed elsewhere; closing or refreshing clears undo history.
- Repair is not a general recovery tool: missing files, permissions, and unsupported corruption receive advice, never forced deletion or truncation. Permanent deletion is irreversible. Task summaries and Markdown export are not added.
- The functional candidate passed local regressions, isolated supported-host matrices, and real DSH 0.1.6-alpha.2 browser smoke tests covering search, preview, favorites, batches, diagnosis, and repair. Real model submission, streaming, tool approvals, and unknown host versions are outside this validation claim.
- The host Settings shell still has an extremely narrow-screen obstruction; full mobile layout support is not claimed.
## 0.1.44 - 2026-09-18
- Opening an archived session from Settings no longer falsely reports that the host did not keep the conversation.
- Support DeepSeek Harness `0.1.6-alpha.2` while remaining compatible with earlier hosts. The archive page, opening archives, and permanent deletion keep working after the official API changes.
## 0.1.43 - 2026-09-16
- Support DeepSeek Harness 0.1.6 while remaining compatible with earlier hosts. Settings keeps only this plugin's archive page, and the sidebar archive menu works on 0.1.6.
- Opening an archived session, or restoring and opening it, returns to the original workspace and group instead of being cleared immediately.
- Batch archive and restore continue one session at a time. A later failure keeps earlier changes, and missing sessions no longer break the action.
## 0.1.42 - 2026-09-14
- Add Archived / Unarchived tabs with Archived selected by default. Select sessions across projects for batch archiving, or archive all chats in a project or ungrouped section from its menu.
- Unify session action labels and make batch archive buttons and menu actions easier to identify. Keep the confirmation dialog open with an error on archive failure for direct retries, and clear stale feedback.
- Add the Typert `workspaceRegistry/archiveSessions` endpoint accepting `{ sessionIds: string[] }` to archive sessions across projects, with deduplication, idempotency, and whole-batch rejection for invalid sessions.
## 0.1.41 - 2026-09-14
- Improve the archived-session bulk action bar with grouped selection details and actions, fixing wrapped button labels in narrow content areas.
- Simplify the bar when nothing is selected and show cross-filter selection counts and scope separately so hidden selections remain clear.
## 0.1.40 - 2026-09-13
- Open archived sessions in the native DSH conversation view and continue chatting while keeping them archived, or restore and open them.
- Close the settings overlay after an archived conversation opens successfully; keep settings open and show an error on failure, with a restore-and-open alternative when host navigation adaptation is unavailable.
- Localize archive navigation errors and avoid unnecessary warnings when older hosts load or open archives successfully.
## 0.1.39 - 2026-09-11
- Preserve the Codex UI workspace list, styling, and dedicated interactions when both plugins are installed, while keeping archive management available.
- Delegate the home workspace picker and session navigation to the official DSH plugin while retaining the custom archive sidebar, directory creation, restore, and batch management, reducing navigation API drift across host upgrades.
- Isolate sidebar directory synchronization failures so they do not interrupt other plugins registering directory components. If your Profile manually disables the official `ui-workspace`, remove that override before upgrading; otherwise the archive sidebar and settings page cannot load.
## 0.1.38 - 2026-09-11
- Support DeepSeek Harness `0.1.5-rc.2` while retaining compatibility with the four previously supported versions.
## 0.1.37 - 2026-09-10
- Fix rebuilt archive summaries remaining unusable on DSH `0.1.5-rc.1`; caches with missing or outdated format versions are rebuilt from the session transcript and reused on subsequent visits.
## 0.1.36 - 2026-09-10
- Harden release delivery: align dependency cooling preflight and synchronize bilingual GitHub Releases only after confirming the exact npm version and commit; recover already-published releases without reinstalling or republishing.
- Wait for npm latest propagation to avoid incorrectly marking new releases as non-Latest; fix negative timeout values and deadline diagnostics while preserving abort causes and ordinary network errors.
- Add release recovery, CLI, bilingual notes, and deadline regressions; plugin runtime behavior and the four-version compatibility range remain unchanged.
## 0.1.35 - 2026-09-10
- Support DSH `0.1.5-rc.1`: restore workspace selection, session opening, and fork navigation; dismiss global panels when opening or creating sessions, and suppress stale navigation and draft handoff after panel switches or disposal.
- Route sidebar open/fork actions through the new navigation service with legacy fallbacks; restrict DSH peers to `0.1.0-rc.8 || 0.1.1-rc.2 || 0.1.2-rc.1 || 0.1.5-rc.1` and pin development dependencies to `0.1.5-rc.1`.
- Add navigation and sidebar wiring regressions, validate those four exact versions in the isolated matrix; explicitly provide Zustand/Immer required by the official Store in Node tests.
- Passed real browser acceptance in an isolated DSH `0.1.5-rc.1` Web Profile: archive/restore, deletion and subagent cascades, cross-filter batch deletion, workspace and global-panel navigation, forks, content search, and restart persistence; no external model calls were made.
## 0.1.34 - 2026-09-09
- Unified settings headings, descriptions, and action layouts; maintenance controls no longer squeeze titles or versions. The layout adapts to native DSH settings without Codex UI.
## 0.1.33 - 2026-09-08
- Added real live-session deletion coverage for `0.1.3-alpha.2` with JSONL and Zstandard: verify pending event durability, write-handle closure before directory removal, completion notification, archive bookkeeping cleanup, and no resurrection after reopening storage or a later flush; no production deletion change was required.
- Validate isolated storage test entry points, dependency versions, and resolved paths before loading host modules to prevent false failures from local legacy links; add `test:latest`, build before the matrix, and assert a single completion event for legacy live deletion.
- Added an isolated full regression matrix for DSH `0.1.1-rc.2` / Cordis `4.0.1`, `0.1.2-rc.1` / `4.0.2`, and `0.1.3-alpha.2` / `4.0.2`, passing 134, 134, and 137 tests respectively; corrected legacy client/event test fixtures and explicitly accepted the `0.1.1-rc.2` prerelease peer range.
- Added compatibility with DeepSeek Harness `0.1.3-alpha.2` (official master `c389f96`), including persistence snapshot listings and read-only session handles while retaining legacy API paths.
- Fixed sessions remaining under Ungrouped after batch deletion on the newer host (#19): remove every log generation in the session directory, confirm persistence removal before committing bookkeeping and broadcasting completion, and include cold subagents in cascading deletion.
- Updated development dependencies and added isolated tests against real JSONL / Zstandard storage, covering queries and reopening storage after deletion, fork preservation, and archived projection reads.
## 0.1.32 - 2026-09-07
- Fixed leftover session directories after deletion (#16): remove the entire session-owned directory after validating the official JSONL layout, preserve shared/unknown-backend parent directories, and refuse deletion through directory links.
- Added regression coverage for directory and attachment cleanup, path encoding, shared-directory protection, and failed-deletion retries.
- Kept relative JSONL storage roots stable across host working-directory changes and added warnings when directory ownership cannot be verified.
## 0.1.31 - 2026-09-07
- Added independent in-product update checks with automatic updates when a verified DSH update service is available and a profile-specific manual fallback otherwise.
- Removed the update-button dependency on `react-dom/client` so the client can load on Hosts that do not register that module id.
## 0.1.30 — 2026-09-04
- Kept failed archived-session deletions retryable until their transcript artifact is removed.
- Restricted transcript cleanup to the backend-owned artifact path and refreshed client session lists after deletion.
## 0.1.29 — 2026-09-03
- Added compatibility with DeepSeek Harness `0.1.2-rc.1`.
## 0.1.28 — 2026-09-03
- Enforced LF for JavaScript source, build scripts, and generated `lib` output, fixing Windows CI incorrectly reporting esbuild output as out of sync after a build.
- Added a cross-platform line-ending policy regression test so generated-output synchronization checks behave consistently on Windows and Linux.
## 0.1.27 — 2026-09-03
- Moved the sole maintained source into `src` and atomically generate the publishable `lib` directory with esbuild. A failed build preserves the previous output so local installation remains usable.
- Added generated-output synchronization checks and failed-build regression coverage, and unified CI and prepublish validation under `pnpm verify`.
## 0.1.26 — 2026-09-03
- Fixed the Windows CI host-test fixture to use the same native realpath representation as DSH's asynchronous session-path index, preventing valid workspace sessions from being filtered out only in the test environment.
- Added an initialization regression assertion that verifies accounted workspace sessions remain visible after path membership validation.
## 0.1.25 — 2026-09-03
- Added **Archive all chats** to each workspace action menu. The entry is hidden when no active chats remain, and the client refreshes its session list after a successful batch archive.
- Added a red outlined confirmation style for **Archive all** with hover and keyboard-focus states.
- Kept the path-safe `session_projcache_archive_manager_v2` domain as the only write target. Startup now imports missing entries from the short-lived old-name v2 domain, old-name v1 domain, and supported DSH cache formats without overwriting newer records.
- Added RC2-to-current isolated compatibility coverage and made it a release gate: CI and `prepublishOnly` now run `test:compat`; CI no longer assumes pnpm exists before Corepack enables it.
## 0.1.24 — 2026-09-02
- Upgraded the development test stack to DSH `0.1.2-alpha.5` and `@deepseek-ai/cordis` `4.0.2`, while retaining the existing `>=0.1.0-rc.5 <0.2.0` DSH runtime peer declarations.
- Switched primary client integration tests to the current `dsh-client-store` contract and retained a tested optional `dsh-client-runtime` fallback for older hosts.
- Added a reproducible pnpm alpha-resolution policy that disables automatic peer installation and records the approved newly published packages.
## 0.1.23 — 2026-09-01
- Fixed missing sidebar pending-state indicators on DSH `v0.1.2-alpha.2`: workspace rows now read pending UI interactions from the `ui-session` `pendingInteractions` Map.
- Whitelisted the official visible pending states (`question`, `approval`, and `plan-review`) before passing them to row rendering, so unknown future states are ignored safely.
- Kept the legacy `SessionSummary.pendingInteraction` fallback and added regression coverage for grouped, flat, and search result rows.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.23`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.23).
## 0.1.22 — 2026-09-01
- Added arbitrary archived-chat selection in **Settings → Archived**, including per-row checkboxes, select-all for the current filtered results, cross-project selection, batch restore, and confirmed batch permanent deletion.
- Kept selected operations on the existing authoritative host batch path, so stale records, partial deletion failures, and retry behavior match existing project-wide and all-chat actions.
- Refreshed the client session projection after restoring chats so restored sessions immediately reappear in their original workspace.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.22`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.22).
## 0.1.21 — 2026-08-31
- Preserved the projection-cache `put()` Promise contract when a tombstone suppresses a deleted Session write, so DSH `v0.1.2-alpha.2` cold-read write-back remains fail-soft instead of throwing a synchronous `TypeError`.
- Added direct `put(...).catch(...)` regression coverage for alpha.2 while retaining the `putSoft` path used by DSH `v0.1.1-rc.2`, and clarified the separate safe cache domain and migration behavior.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.21`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.21).
## 0.1.20 — 2026-08-31
- Kept IM and other non-filesystem-safe Session ids unchanged while persisting projection checkpoints under fixed-length safe keys, preventing DSH `v0.1.2-alpha.2` from using colons as Windows filenames.
- Added resumable, add-only cache import from the DSH `v0.1.1-rc.2` whole-file format and from clean alpha per-record profiles, so existing users retain cached projections across either upgrade path.
- Rebuild missing archived-session projections from the retained transcript on demand and refresh the client list, so legacy archive markers remain fully visible whether their old cache row exists or not.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.20`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.20).
## 0.1.19 — 2026-08-30
- Fixed the workspace-row **+** action on DSH `v0.1.2-alpha.1` by resolving the `uiWorkspace` service when the action runs, removing its dependency on plugin load order and avoiding the removed legacy `startSession` API.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.19`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.19).
## 0.1.18 — 2026-08-28
- Added client compatibility for the split store layout in DSH `v0.1.2-alpha.1` while preserving the legacy runtime fallback used by `v0.1.1-rc.2`.
- Restored the alpha Workspace navigation service required by the sidebar, conversation view, and directory picker when Archive Manager replaces the stock Workspace UI.
- Bound observable stores at the Settings boundary and kept subagent-lineage indexing local, preventing archived-chat startup and rendering failures on the alpha release.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.18`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.18).
## 0.1.17 — 2026-08-28
- Enabled npm Trusted Publishing through the repository's GitHub Actions release workflow.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.17`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.17).
## 0.1.16 — 2026-08-27
- Added a restore icon to archived-group bulk action menus for consistent action affordances.
- Shortened the ungrouped bulk action labels to **Restore all** and **Delete all**, avoiding repeated context and reducing menu width.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.16`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.16).
## 0.1.15 — 2026-08-26
- Hardened permanent deletion so missing transcripts clear stale archive, workspace, spill, and projection-cache data while failed physical deletion remains retryable.
- Cleared workspace and projection-cache tombstones when a session ID is reused, preventing valid replacement sessions from being blocked.
- Corrected batch deletion feedback and duplicate restore submission handling, and aligned client batch counts with the host's authoritative archive set.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.15`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.15).
## 0.1.14 — 2026-08-24
- Added project-scoped batch restore and permanent deletion, plus a page-level **Restore all** action.
- Added archived-chat sorting by last update, creation time, or title, backed by authoritative host creation metadata.
- Added confirmation, success, and partial-failure feedback for batch archive operations.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.14`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.14).
## 0.1.13 — 2026-08-23
- Added bilingual changelogs covering the five most recent releases.
- Linked the release history from both README editions and included it in the npm package.
Published package: [`@michengai/dsh-archive-manager@0.1.13`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@michengai/dsh-archive-manager/v/0.1.13).
## 0.1.12 — 2026-08-18
- Declared official DeepSeek packages as peer dependencies.
- Replaced the README header with the product banner.
- Removed local-only documentation from repository tracking.
Release tag: [`v0.1.12`](https://github.com/MichengAI/dsh-archive-manager/tree/v0.1.12).
## 0.1.11 — 2026-08-17
- Fixed settings-page filtering, tombstone bypasses, and cold-reuse behavior.
- Removed obsolete client cascade code and normalized reused workspace paths.
