Unless a file explicitly says otherwise, assets in `public/` are not CC0, not public domain, and not covered by the repository's MIT code license.

`The Horror Notes` (《惊魂笔记》) is an original side-scrolling horror narrative game by Heroza. `The Horror Notes` (《惊魂笔记》) and related characters, scenes, logos, demo images, and spritesheets are copyrighted works by Heroza.

Allowed:

- Viewing and running the assets as part of this repository's local demo.
- Sharing official images or videos released by Heroza for `The Horror Notes` (《惊魂笔记》), with attribution to `The Horror Notes` (《惊魂笔记》) by Heroza, as long as the sharing does not imply a separate asset license.

Not allowed without written permission:

- Reusing the images, characters, spritesheets, logos, or backgrounds in another project.
- Redistributing or selling the assets.
- Publishing extracted copies of the assets.
- Using the assets for dataset creation or model training.
