## 🚀 Installation & Setup

### Step 1: Download the Extension
1. Download the `ai-summary-extension.zip` file
2. Extract the ZIP file to a location on your computer
3. You should see a folder with all the extension files

### Step 2: Load in Chrome
1. Open Chrome and go to `chrome://extensions/`
2. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top-right corner)
3. Click "Load unpacked"
4. Select the extracted folder containing the extension files
5. The extension should now appear in your extensions list

### Step 3: Get Your API Key
1. Visit [Google AI Studio](https://makersuite.google.com/app/apikey)
2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Click "Create API Key"
4. Copy your new API key

### Step 4: Configure the Extension
1. Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. If no API key is set, the options page will open automatically
3. Paste your Gemini API key in the input field
4. Click "Save Settings"
5. You're ready to use the extension!

## 📖 How to Use

### YouTube Video Summarization
- **Navigate** to any YouTube video you want to summarize
- **Ensure transcripts are available** (click the "..." menu and select "Show transcript" if available)
- **Click** the AI Summary extension icon in your toolbar
- **Select** your preferred summary type from the dropdown
- **Click** "Summarize This Video"
- **Wait** for the AI to generate your summary using video transcript, description, and comments
- **Copy** the summary using the "Copy Summary" button
