# Roadmap

Open Island is community-driven. The best product experiences are created by deep users of each tool. We welcome contributions of all kinds — pick an area below and start vibing.

Think of Open Island as having done the basics: a macOS island shell + code agent communication layer + fundamental features like notifications and terminal jump-back. Everything else can be defined by you.

You can also fork your own version and modify it however you like — but PRing here gives it a chance to reach more people (btw, we use the GPL license).

> 1. Describe your idea clearly in an issue, then submit a PR. See [CONTRIBUTING.md](../CONTRIBUTING.md) for details.
