This is a separate installation from the 2.x template, with its own appdata and host port. Production requires an HTTPS reverse proxy, explicit public origins, a stable session secret, and the current MEDIA_SERVER_* settings. Read the migration guide before moving an existing installation. GPU passthrough and hardware transcoding are configured on Emby or Jellyfin, which runs FFmpeg. MediaApp:Video MediaServer:Video Network:Other Status:Stable A running Emby or Jellyfin server reachable from this container, a dedicated administrative API key issued by that server, and an HTTPS public URL routed to Watch Party. Generate SESSION_SECRET once with openssl rand -hex 32 and retain it. Set the public Web UI URL and matching CORS origin, and identify the reverse proxy's actual connecting address for TRUSTED_PROXY_CIDRS. Before first start, create the appdata directories and config.json containing {} as a file; keep existing configuration when migrating. Use one application worker.
