# Privacy Policy Last updated: May 7, 2026 YouTube Feed Customiser is designed to run locally in your browser. ## Data Stored The extension stores the following data in Chrome local extension storage: - Saved YouTube channel identifiers from your subscriptions page, such as `/@example`. - The last sync time. - Whether feed filtering is enabled. ## Data Collection The extension does not collect, sell, share, transmit, or remotely store personal data. It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, remote logging, or external servers. ## Data Use Stored channel identifiers are used only to decide which videos to show or hide on the YouTube home page. ## Data Removal You can remove all extension data by uninstalling the extension from Chrome. You can also clear extension storage from Chrome developer tools while the extension is loaded locally. ## Permissions The extension requests access to `https://www.youtube.com/*` so it can read the YouTube subscriptions page and hide matching home-feed items.
