--- name: oneirloom-craft-construction description: Turn a visual subject into a clear craft construction when units, joins, thickness, edges, or support define the result. Use for work such as fuse-bead art or layered paper relief. --- # Craft construction (工艺构造) Read the [shared interaction contract](../oneirloom/references/interaction-contract.md) before the first substantive response unless its unchanged content is already available. For person-based subjects, including avatars, read [person defaults and proportions](../oneirloom/references/person-prompts.md). Use this method when the way an object is assembled matters to the requested image or visual concept. It turns a subject, medium, and fixed relationships into visible units, joins, thickness, edges, and support. It does not establish a counted pattern, manufacturing plan, or physical safety. ## Choose the construction 1. Record which subject features and relationships must remain recognizable. Separate those from adjustable craft and presentation choices. 2. Choose the smallest visible unit and its scale. Describe its shape, surface, and how units align, repeat, or vary. 3. State how parts join, how many layers form the piece, and where thickness and cut edges remain visible. Give irregularity a range that keeps the assembly legible. 4. Describe what supports the piece and where it meets the surface. Treat the subject's viewing angle and the craft object's display view as separate decisions. 5. Read [construction mechanisms](references/construction.md) for fuse-bead and layered-paper guidance. Use [material response](../oneirloom-color-light/references/material-response.md) for surface color, light, and reflection. Graphic hierarchy and layout belong to [graphic design](../oneirloom-style-design/SKILL.md). 6. When a concrete recipe fits, read the optional [template index](templates/index.md), then only the selected template. A visual recipe does not prove a counted pattern or physical buildability. For a seasonal merchant display with a separate layered-paper setting, see the optional [layered-paper backdrop recipe](templates/layered-paper-backdrop/template.md). For a real product, preserve known product facts and route product decisions through [product art direction](../oneirloom-product-art-direction/SKILL.md). A visually plausible craft mockup remains a concept unless the user requests and receives a verified pattern or construction artifact. ## Correct a construction miss If repeated units merge into a flat texture, revise the unit's cross-section, alignment, and visible gaps or sidewalls. Keep the accepted subject silhouette and other decisions fixed. ## Deliver the requested result For a prompt request, integrate the construction into a complete prompt and follow the shared contract's language and format rules. For a construction brief, state the unit, arrangement, joins, thickness, edges, support, and unresolved physical details. Say whether the result is authored text, a generated mockup, or an inspected artifact.
