Privacy Policy for SwapPay

1. Introduction
SwapPay ("we", "our", or "us") is a decentralized P2P trading platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

2. Data We Collect
Personal Information: We collect a "Display Name" provided by you. This name is used only for your profile identification and to identify your advertisements in the P2P marketplace. We do NOT collect your email address or phone number.

Blockchain Keys: To facilitate non-custodial trading, we store your Encrypted Private Key in our secure database. This key is encrypted using your personal PIN and cannot be accessed by us without your PIN. We NEVER collect or store your 12-word Seed Phrase.

Wallet Address: We collect your public blockchain wallet address to sync balances and history.

3. Use of Information
Your data is used solely to: 

Facilitate Instant P2P swaps between users.

Display your identity to trade partners during an active order.

Securely sign blockchain transactions via your encrypted keys.

4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase for secure database management and authentication. No personal data is sold to third parties. Market prices are fetched via public APIs without sharing any user identifiers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion
In compliance with Google’s policy, users have the right to delete their accounts. If you delete your account, your Display Name and Encrypted Private Key will be permanently removed from our Firebase database. Public blockchain transactions, however, are immutable and cannot be deleted.

6. Security
We use industry-standard AES encryption for data at rest. Since SwapPay is a non-custodial wallet, you are solely responsible for keeping your PIN and Seed Phrase safe. Loss of these credentials will result in total loss of funds.
