RIEKER INC. — PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: June 18, 2026 OVERVIEW Rieker Inc. developed the Rieker Field Measurement app to support civil engineering and field measurement professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Rieker app on your iPhone. Our core commitment is that your data remains under your control. Data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or transmit it through available features. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT The App is designed to operate without collecting personal or measurement data by default. Rieker Inc. does not collect or access the following information without your knowledge or consent: - Personal information such as your name, email, or contact details - Location data — GPS coordinates are recorded to your local log files only and never sent off-device - Sensor measurements, log files, or photos - Device identifiers or advertising IDs - Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us - Any data through third-party SDKs or analytics platforms DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE The Rieker app stores the following data exclusively on your iPhone: - Log files (CSV format) containing sensor readings, timestamps, and GPS coordinates if enabled - Photographs taken in the Capture view, with optional embedded sensor data overlay - Project and collection metadata (names, descriptions, colours, icons) - App settings and preferences All data is stored in the app's Documents directory and is accessible via the iOS Files app. You have full control over this data at all times. Data remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it. BLUETOOTH USAGE The app uses Bluetooth to discover and connect to Rieker H7 GPS-PLUS sensors. Bluetooth communication is local only – sensor data flows directly from the sensor to your iPhone and unless you choose to export or share that data. LOCATION PERMISSION If you grant location permission, the app uses your iPhone's GPS to embed location coordinates in log files. This data is written only to local CSV files on your device. Location data is never transmitted to Rieker Inc. or any third party. CAMERA PERMISSION Camera access is used exclusively within the Capture tab to take photos with sensor data overlays. Photos are saved only to the app's local storage. No images are uploaded or shared without your explicit action. DATA SHARING Data is not transmitted from your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it. This may include using built-in sharing features (such as exporting CSV files or images) or voluntarily providing data to Rieker Inc. for technical support, troubleshooting, or related purposes. LEGAL DISCLOSURE Rieker Inc. may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as court orders or government regulations. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION All data is retained until you delete it. You can delete individual log files, photos, or entire projects from within the app. Uninstalling the App will remove app-associated data from your device, subject to standard iOS data management behavior. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY The Rieker app is designed for professional use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, including the introduction of new features such as data-sharing or cloud-based services.
