# Independent implementation and third-party notice

`Rion WeChat CLI`, `Rion WeChat Reader`, and WeChat Intelligence Hub are independent projects by Rion Wu. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or maintained by Tencent or the WeChat team.

The WeChat-related reader in this repository is an independently implemented, local, read-only compatibility tool. The repository does not include Tencent or WeChat source code, proprietary assets, access credentials, user databases, or code and binaries from previously published third-party WeChat CLI projects. It does not provide process-memory key extraction, application re-signing, code injection, or Hook functionality.

Compatibility with documented data formats or observable local database schemas does not imply ownership of or affiliation with the software that produced those formats. Relevant compatibility provenance is documented in `projects/rion-wechat-reader/docs/access-bundle-compatibility.md`.

Users must access only data they own or are authorized to use and remain responsible for local law, privacy obligations, backups, and applicable platform terms. The software is provided under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only without warranty. Separate commercial licensing may be available from Rion Wu; see `COMMERCIAL-LICENSE.md`.
