# Codex Port

## Features

- Inspect available skills, dependencies and licenses.
- Review the destination and name conflicts before importing.
- Import selected skills and inspect the migration report.

## Install

Open **Plugins** in the DSH desktop app and install `dsh-codex-port`. If the CLI is available:

```bash
dsh plugin --profile desktop add dsh-codex-port
```

For the web profile, replace `desktop` with `web`. Restart that DSH profile after installation. The package’s DSH requirement is `>=0.2.1-rc.3`.

## Start using it

1. Start in the destination DSH workspace and identify the local Codex skill location.
2. Ask for a list of portable skills, dependencies and license information before copying anything.
3. Select skills and review the import plan, destination and name conflicts before importing.
4. Invoke an imported skill in DSH to verify it. Keep the original and review later updates when needed.

Example request：

> List locally available skills and preview the destination and conflicts. Do not import yet.

Skills may still require their own runtimes and third-party dependencies.

## Plugin updates

Check updates at the bottom of the workbench or native plugin details. Automatic checks are on by default; **automatic installation is off**. You choose whether to install and when to restart.
