  - Track your browsing history
  - Store transcripts on external servers
  - Use analytics or tracking services
  - Share any data with third parties

  ## Local Storage

  TranscriptSnap stores only your preferences locally on your device:
  - **Timestamp toggle setting**: Whether to include timestamps in copied transcripts

  This data never leaves your device and is stored using Chrome's local storage API.

  ## Permissions Explained

  2. It fetches transcript data directly from YouTube's servers (same data YouTube shows in captions)
  3. The transcript is formatted and copied to your clipboard
  4. No data is sent anywhere except to your clipboard

  ## Third-Party Services

  TranscriptSnap does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics. All functionality runs entirely within your
