The extension requests permissions strictly to interact with `youtube.com`. When you open a YouTube video, the extension reads the publicly available subtitle track provided by YouTube and displays it in a search interface.

When you search for a word, the search algorithm runs entirely locally within your browser. **No data ever leaves your computer.**
