# Assets and Third-Party Rights Notice

This English text is the primary repository notice. The Simplified Chinese translation is provided for convenience. This document distinguishes the repository's MIT-licensed code from Aether Gazer game assets. It is not a license from the original rights holders and does not change the legal status of any asset.

## Project status

“Verdandi · White Vow” is a free, non-commercial, unofficial fan skin for the DeepSeek Harness Web UI. The project is not affiliated with, sponsored by, partnered with, or endorsed by the developers, publishers, or operators of Aether Gazer or by the DeepSeek Harness project.

Aether Gazer, Verdandi, and the related characters, scenes, icons, names, and visual materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. They are retained in this repository only to express the theme and support reproducible builds. The project makes no copyright or trademark claim over them.

## Game assets excluded from the MIT License

The project maintainer has confirmed that the following materials were taken directly from in-game assets. Corresponding WebP files under `assets/generated/` are resized, cropped, transparency-adjusted, or re-encoded derivatives for the Web UI:

- `verdandi-vow-rings`
- `verdandi-wedding-avatar`
- `verdandi-white-knight`

These assets and their processed derivatives are excluded from the grant in the [MIT License](LICENSE). The same restriction applies to their appearance in preview screenshots and to corresponding image data embedded in the built `lib/client.js` bundle.

## Original generic ornaments

The following generic wedding ornaments contain no third-party character artwork. They were drawn or generated for this project and are provided under the MIT License together with the code:

- `verdandi-bridal-floral-corner`
- `verdandi-bridal-veil-corner`
- `verdandi-vow-folder`

## Use and removal requests

Do not use this project or its game assets for commercial sale, paid redistribution, misleading official promotion, or other purposes that may harm the original rights holders. Rights holders may request attribution corrections, replacement, or removal through GitHub Issues; the maintainer will review and address verified requests promptly.
