App Engine is a ServiceNow AI Platform® suite of products to help boost productivity by automating workflows. ServiceNow® App Engine Studio \(AES\) is a development tool for creators of varying skill levels to build applications that meet the immediate needs of your organization.

## How App Engine and App Engine Studio work together

App Engine provides the ServiceNow AI Platform infrastructure, governance, and application life cycle management capabilities. App Engine Studio is the development environment you use to build applications within that platform. App Engine serves as the platform infrastructure while App Engine Studio provides the development tools.
