You also set your preferences in the **App Settings** panel, including your profile, appearance, editor behavior, and integrations. ## Minimum requirements Lux Lab requires the operating system, tools, and connectivity in the following table. |Requirement|Minimum version| |-----------|---------------| |macOS|12 \(Monterey\) or later| |Windows|10 \(64-bit\) or later| |Node.js|v24 or later| |pnpm|v10 or later| |Git|v2.30 or later| |Internet connection|Required, for instance connectivity and agent features| ## Setup tasks Setup has two parts. First, you install Lux Lab from the ServiceNow® Developer Store. Then you connect it to your instance, so that you can access relevant files and deploy your changes. For the procedures, see [Install Lux Lab](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/installing-lux-lab.md) and [Connect Lux Lab to an instance](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/connecting-lux-lab-to-an-instance.md). ## App settings Beyond installation and the instance connection, most other configuration is in the App Settings panel. For the panel's sections and options, see [App Settings panel](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/app-settings.md).
