You can also add AI files to applications to enhance user productivity through conversation and proactive experiences. The main AI tools available in ServiceNow Studio are ServiceNow Otto for Creator skills: app generation and app summary generation. Use app generation to create apps through a conversational interface, and use app summary generation to create short descriptions of existing apps. ## App generation **Note:** Starting with the Australia release, app generation is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer activated on new instances but will continue to be supported. Build Agent provides the latest experience for this functionality. Use the app generation skill to create or update an app from the main ServiceNow Studio home page. Describe the app in a conversation and ServiceNow Otto generates a version of the app to modify. Add three types of AI files to applications: agentic workflows, AI agents, and skills. These files open in a new tab for editing in AI Agent Studio.
