For more information, see [Working with themes in Next Experience](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/next-experience-theming.md). ## Create a new theme with Theme Builder Theme Builder enables you to create, edit, manage, and apply Next Experience themes using a friendly visual interface. For more information, see [Configuring Next Experience with Theme Builder](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/configuring-next-experience-with-theme-builder.md). ## Create a custom theme If you are an admin user comfortable working in style records and JSON code, you can create a custom theme to override the default Polaris style. This option gives you the most control over typefaces, colors, and images \(including the banner and logo\) in a theme. For more information, see [Configuring Next Experience themes and preferences](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/config-next-experience-themes-prefs.md). ## Working with dark theme If you are interested in dark theme, see [Working with the dark theme](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/tb-working-in-dark-theme.md). ## Create custom style classes and rules Use style classes rules in UI Builder to apply custom visual styling to UI elements by referencing CSS classes, see [Create custom style classes and rules](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/ui-builder/custom-style-classes-rules.md). - **[View experience theme](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/ui-builder/view-experience-theme.md)** View the theme applied to your experience. The theme sets the visual style of the experience and provides a consistent look and feel across all pages. - **[Create custom style classes and rules](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/ui-builder/custom-style-classes-rules.md)** Use style classes rules in UI Builder to apply custom visual styling to UI elements by referencing CSS classes. **Parent Topic:**[Working in UI Builder](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/ui-builder/using-ui-builder.md)
