Scroll to the **Branding and theming** section and note what is listed in **Themes**. By default, the Polaris theme is applied to UI Builder experiences. ## What to do next - **Theme Builder** enables you to create, edit, manage, and apply Next Experience themes using a friendly visual interface. For more information, see [Configuring Next Experience with Theme Builder](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/configuring-next-experience-with-theme-builder.md). - If you are an admin user comfortable working in style records and JSON code, you can create a custom theme to override the default Polaris style. This option gives you the most control over typefaces, colors, and images \(including the banner and logo\) in a theme. For more information, see [Configuring Next Experience themes and preferences](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/platform-user-interface/config-next-experience-themes-prefs.md). **Parent Topic:**[Configure UI Builder portal experiences](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-development/ui-builder/ui-builder-portal-settings.md)
