# Add a driver to a stakeholder

Add existing drivers to stakeholders or create drivers directly from stakeholder records to identify influences.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_apm.apm\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \(\[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text:\).

3.  Select the expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text:\) next to **Business Architecture**.

4.  Select **Stakeholders**.

5.  Select the stakeholder that you want to add a driver to.

6.  Select the **Drivers** tab.

7.  Add a driver using one of the following methods.

    -   To add an existing driver:
        1.  Select **Add**.
        2.  In the Add driver window, select the driver and the relationship type between the driver and the stakeholder.
        3.  Select **Add**.
    -   To create a driver, select **New** and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see [Create a driver form](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/application-portfolio-management/eaw-create-a-driver-form.md).

## Result

The driver appears in the Drivers related list for the stakeholder.
