# Add or edit a business actor

Create or edit a business actor to define who performs work in your organization.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_apm.apm\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \(\[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text:\).

3.  Select the expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text:\) next to **Business Architecture**.

4.  Select **Business Actors**.

5.  Add or edit a business actor.

    -   To add a business actor, select **New**.
    -   To update details of an existing business actor, select the business actor.

        **Note:** To edit multiple business actors simultaneously, select the checkboxes next to relevant business actors and then select **Edit**.

6.  On the form, fill in the fields.

7.  Select **Save**.
