# Add or edit a driver

Create or edit a driver to document a condition motivating your organization to define goals and implement changes.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_apm.apm\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \(\[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text:\).

3.  Select the expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text:\) next to **Business Architecture**.

4.  Select **Drivers**.

5.  Add or edit a driver.

    -   To add a driver, select **New**.
    -   To edit an existing driver, select the driver.

        **Note:** To edit drivers roles simultaneously, select the checkboxes next to relevant drivers and then select **Edit**.

6.  In the form, fill in the fields.

7.  Select **Save**.
