# Add a value stream to a stakeholder

Associate value streams with stakeholders to track their involvement in business processes. You can add existing value streams or create new ones directly from the stakeholder record.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_apm.apm\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \(\[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text:\).

3.  Select the expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text:\) next to **Business Architecture**.

4.  Select **Stakeholders**.

5.  Select the stakeholder that you want to add a value stream to.

6.  Select the **Value streams** tab.

7.  Add a value stream.

    -   To add an existing value stream:
        1.  Select **Add**.
        2.  In the Add value stream window, select the value stream. A suggested relationship type appears in the **Relationship type** field, but you can select a different type from the list, if needed.
        3.  Select **Add**.
    -   To create a value stream, select **New**, and fill in the fields on the form. ## Result

The value stream appears in the **Value streams** related list for the stakeholder.
