# Remove an AI system from a business application

You can remove an AI system from a business application record in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace.

## Before you begin

Role required:

-   To remove an existing AI system from a business application: sn\_apm.apm\_user
-   To view the AI system details in the AI Control Tower: sn\_aig.ai\_steward or sn\_aig.ai\_asset\_owner

## About this task

Removing an AI system from a business application removes only the association. The AI system record in AI Control Tower is not deleted.

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspaces** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \(\[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text: Portfolio icon\).

3.  Select the Expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text: Expand Row icon\) next to **Application Portfolio**.

4.  Select the business application that you want to remove the AI systems for.

5.  Select **AI systems**.

6.  Select the check box next to the AI systems that you want to remove and select **Remove**.

    You can select multiple check boxes.

    A confirmation message appears.

7.  Select **Remove**.

    The selected AI systems are removed from the **AI systems** tab.
