# Edit an architectural document details

Edit an architectural document to update or modify details.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_apm.apm\_user

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Workspace** > **Enterprise Architecture Workspace**.

2.  Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon \[Omitted image "portfolio-icon.png"\] Alt text: Portfolio icon.

3.  Select the expand row icon \(\[Omitted image "ExpandIcon.png"\] Alt text: Expand Row icon\) next to **Information Portfolio**.

4.  Select **Architectural Documents**.

5.  Select a check box against an existing architectural document.

6.  Select **Edit**.

    The artifact details opened in the right panel. Modify details such as name, type, description, category, and owner of the artifact.\[Omitted image "edit-arch-document.png"\] Alt text: Edit an architectural document

7.  Select **Update**.
