# De-activate e-signatures

Use this procedure to de-activate e-signatures.

Although plugins cannot be removed, e-signatures can be disabled.

1.  Navigate to **System Definition** > **E-Signature Registry**.
2.  Set **Enabled** to **False** on any tables where e-signatures are no longer required.
