# Configure Playbook Experience to display ideal path

Configure Playbook Experience to show the stages and activities in an ideal path before they are executed during a playbook run.

## About this task

You can configure Playbook Experience to display conditional stages and activities in an ideal path. During a playbook run, the unresolved decision are shown to the user as conditional activities. It displays a preview of what is likely to come next, even before the decision has been evaluated. This informs the fulfillers about the ideal execution path of the playbook. ## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Playbook Experience** > **Playbook Experiences**.

2.  From the list, select a Playbook experience where you want to configure ideal path visibility.

3.  In the **Configurations** list, select an existing configuration or select **New** to create a configuration.

4.  In the **Pending Item Visibility** field, select **Show stages and activities on the ideal path**.

5.  Select **Update** or **Submit**.
