# Assign the CBS requester role manually

Create a role rule to control which employees receive the CBS requester role, so access is granted based on conditions defined by an administrator.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **Admin** > **Admin Home** > **Core Business Suite**.

2.  On the Product Hub page, select **Configure** to open the Configuration Console page.

3.  In the Configuration Summary section, navigate to **Employee Experience** > **Requester role**.

4.  Select the link **Assign manually via 'CBS Client Role Rule'** to manually assign the CBS requester role.

5.  On the CBS Client Role Rule form, fill in the fields and select **Submit**.

## Result

A role rule is created to determine how the CBS requester role gets assigned to your employees.
