# Create group form

Create custom groups for Core Business Suite functions by filling in the form fields.

## Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields on the Create group form.

|Field|Description|
|-----|-----------|
|**Group name**|Name of the group. This field is mandatory.|
|**Group manager**|User responsible for managing the group.|
|**Group description**|Description of the group purpose and function. This field is mandatory.|
|**Assign people to this group**|Users to add as members of the group.|
|**Assign role**|Role to assign to all members of the group.|
