Post and respond to content in the community to get answers or share information.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_communities.community\_user

## Procedure

1.  Perform one or more of the following tasks from the community homepage.


-   **[Ask a question in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/create-question.md)**  
Ask a question in a forum to get an answer from other community users.
-   **[Reply to a question in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/reply-question.md)**  
Reply to a question or another reply.
-   **[Post a blog in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/create-blog.md)**  
Create a blog post and publish it immediately, schedule to publish at a specified date, or save it as a draft.
-   **[Post a video in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/create-video.md)**  
Post a video in a forum or sub forum.
-   **[Comment on a blog or a video in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/comment-blog.md)**  
Comment on a blog or a video or comment on another comment.
-   **[Post a document in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/create-document.md)**  
If you have the proper permissions in a forum, you can share a document with colleagues, experts, or other community users. You can associate the document with as many topics as needed.
-   **[Mention a user in the community](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/mention-users-community.md)**  
Draw attention to your content in the community by mentioning other community users in the post.
-   **[Community events](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/community-events.md)**  
Create, manage, and participate in events to encourage engagement across the community.
-   **[Bookmark community content](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/communities/bookmark-content.md)**  
You can bookmark your favorite questions, blogs, videos, documents, and events. You cannot bookmark content in draft state or replies or comments.
