# Create a page for Configurable Portal widgets

Create a page into which you can add Configurable Portal widgets.

## Before you begin

The UI Components for Customer Portals plugin must have been activated. For more information, see [Activate the UI Components for Customer Portals plugin](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/customer-service-management/customer-self-service-and-omnichannel-engagement/activate-config-portal-widget.md).

Role required: sp\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Service Portal** > **Service Portal Configuration**.

2.  Select **Designer**.

3.  On the Service Portal Designer page, select **Add a new Page**.

4.  Enter the text for the page title.

5.  Enter an ID for the page that does not include spaces or any special character except for an underscore.

6.  Select **Submit**.


## Result

The page is created in the Service Portal Designer.
