# Change your password from the Consumer Portal

Change your Consumer Portal password from your profile settings.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_customerservice.consumer

## Procedure

1.  Select your user name in the portal header to display the user profile information.

2.  Select **Change Password**.

3.  Fill in the fields on the Change Password form.

**Current Password**

The current password. This field is automatically filled in.

**New Password**

</td><td>

The new password. This password must:-   Be a minimum of eight characters in length
-   Include at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
-   Include at least one number

**Confirm Password**

</td><td>

Retype the new password.
