# Request a password reset

If you forget your password, request a new one from the business portal login screen.

## Before you begin

Role required: none

## Procedure

1.  Request reset password email.

    1.  Navigate to the business portal.

    2.  Select **Log in** in the portal header.

    3.  Select the **Forgot Password?** link.

    4.  Enter `Username` and complete CAPTCHA verification.

    5.  Select **Next**.

    6.  Enter your registered email id.

    7.  Select **Next**.

    You will receive an email instructions to reset your password.

2.  Reset your new password.

    1.  Select the **Click here to reset your password** link in the email

    2.  On the Reset Password page, enter a new password in the **New Password** and **Retype Password** fields.

    3.  Select **Reset Password**.


## Result

Your new password is set.
