# Event handlers in the Object list component

A component triggers an event when a certain condition is met or on user interaction. The event can be used to execute an action through a code on a third-party webpage.

|Event handler|Description|
|-------------|-----------|
|SN\_EMBEDX\_OBJECT\_LIST\#FOOTER\_LINK\_SELECTED|This event is dispatched when footer link is selected.|
|SN\_EMBEDX\_OBJECT\_LIST\#COMPONENT\_ERROR|This event is dispatched when a property validation or internal error occurs.|
|SN\_EMBEDX\_OBJECT\_LIST\#RECORD\_SELECTED|This event is dispatched when a record is selected.|
|SN\_EMBEDX\_OBJECT\_LIST\#COMPONENT\_READY|This event is dispatched when a component is ready and usable.|
