# Request time slots

As an applicant, request the recruiter to share additional interview time slots if you're unavailable or the proposed slots have been booked.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn\_ta\_hiring\_core.external\_applicant or sn\_ta\_hiring\_core.internal\_applicant

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to Applicant Center.

2.  On the Applicant Center home page, under the Keep track of what’s going on section, locate the proposed interview.

3.  Select **Select time slot**.

4.  On the Availabilities for Recruiter's call page, select **Request time slots**.

5.  In the Request time slots pop-up window, specify the reason for requesting additional slots.

6.  Select **Send request**.

    The recruiter is notified about the additional time slot request via email and also on the activity stream of the interview record.

7.  On the Availabilities for Recruiter's call page, select **Share scheduling preferences** to share your preferences for new slots.
