# Career Conversations Conversations reference

Career Conversations administrators create conversations that are used by managers and employees.

Conversations are created by managers to facilitate growth and development plans with employees. Growth Plans can be created from a conversion.

Select from the list of users in your organization.This field replaces the **Mentee** field when the **Conversation type** field is set to **Growth Conversations** or **Growth Plan Check-ins**.

When selected, the conversation is published and visible to users.
