# Create a new Indoor Mapping space

Create a Indoor Mapping space in Workplace Indoor Mapping.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1.  Navigate to **All** > **Space Mapping** > **Indoor Maps Administration** > **New Indoor Mapping Space**.

2.  Complete the following information:

Workplace user can reserve the space using the reservation management.

Space title that appears on Indoor maps.

Space type. For example: meeting rooms

Region

</td><td>

Geographical region where the space is located.

Site name.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Campus

</td><td>

Campus where the space is located.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Building

</td><td>

Building where the space is located.

Floor

</td><td>

Floor name.

Area

</td><td>

Area name.

Is reservable

</td><td>

Check box option to specify if the space can be reserved.

Type of space or place. For example: Elevator, cafe, restroom and so on.

Managed by group

</td><td>

Workplace Service Delivery user group name.

Workplace Service Delivery facility manager or admin user name.

</td></tr><tr><td>

Indoor map place

</td><td>

Indoor mapping location. Ensure that the parent hierarchy is synced to view available locations.
