# Customize canvas widgets

Add, resize, and arrange widgets on your canvas to create a personalized workspace that fits your daily work requirements.

## About this task

Canvas enables you to personalize your workspace by adding widgets from the library, resizing them, and arranging them according to your preferences. Canvas saves automatically when you update widget positions.

## Procedure

1.  Go to **Canvas** from the side navigation menu.

    The canvas opens with default widgets: **Calendar**, **My Requests**, and **Featured Apps**.

2.  Select the **New** \(plus icon\) to add a widget.

    A widget selection dialog appears showing available widgets from the library.

3.  Select the widget to add from the available options such as **Quick Links**, **Announcements**, or other custom widgets.

    The selected widget appears on the canvas.

4.  Resize and reposition a widget by dragging the widget corners.

    The widget adjusts to the new size and position on the canvas.

5.  Select **Save** to preserve your canvas configuration.

    Your personalized canvas layout is saved and appears the same way when you return to **Canvas**.


## Result

Your canvas now displays widgets in your preferred arrangement and sizes. The customized layout persists across sessions and provides quick access to the tools and information most relevant to your work.
