# Quick links widget configuration

EmployeeWorks Web App provides Quick Link widgets on the home page and Canvas to give employees direct access to key destinations.

Both Quick Link widgets use records from Employee Center \(`sn_ex_sp_quick_link`\).

You can configure quick links from the admin console or with the **sys\_id** of each record.

|Location|Configuration method|Access path|
|--------|--------------------|-----------|
|**Home page**|Background script — the configuration field is read-only in the standard UI|**System Definition** > **Scripts - Background**|
|**Canvas**|Widget instance record — edit directly in the UI|**AIUX** > **Dashboards**|

To configure either widget, see [Manage quick links widgets](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/employee-experience-foundation/eslate-configure-quick-links.md).
