# Restrict access to a quick link

Restrict access to quick links by setting the user criteria, which allows access only to specific users, groups, roles, and more.

## Before you begin

Role required: sp\_admin, taxonomy\_manager or taxonomy\_admin and user\_criteria\_admin

## Procedure

1.  Do one of the following:

    -   \(If you have the sp\_admin role\) Navigate to **Employee Center** > **Quick Links**.
    -   Navigate to **Content Taxonomy** > **Quick Links**.
    The Quick Link module displays the list of existing quick links.

2.  Click a quick link that you want to restrict access to.

3.  Click the **Available For** tab.

**Add a new user criteria**

1.  Click **New**.

3.  Click **Submit**.

**Edit an existing user criteria**

1.  Click **Edit**.
2.  On the Edit Members form, select the required roles, users, and groups from the Collection column and move them to the Available For List column by clicking the right arrow icon \(\[Omitted image "right-arrow-icon.png"\] Alt text: Right arrow icon.\).
3.  Click **Save**.
