# View employee profile

View the employee profile with your personal information from the employee portal and Now Mobile.

## Manage your profile

As an employee, you can view or update the **About, Profile Picture​, Add Bio, Personal information, Background Banner​, Contact details, Employment details, Preferred Pronoun, and My team** fields​:

You can view and edit the employee profile from the portal from the header. The different tabs \(such as Overview, Career, and Work Items\) are visible in a sticky format even when the user scrolls through the page. All widgets under a particular tab are available in the form of the left navigation menu items.

The admin can use the instance options to configure the visibility of the left navigation menu by selecting the **Widget overview panel** check box.

**Note:** From Employee Profile version 11.0.3, the Widget overview panel check box is configured from the [Profile Portal Configuration](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ServiceNow/ServiceNowDocs/australia/markdown/australia/employee-service-management/employee-experience-foundation/create-portal-profile-config.md).

You can view the employee profile from mobile application:

Specify your data visibility and privacy preferences by marking the field information for public or private distribution:

-   Define work-related data on your profile.
-   Manage the profile data visibility and privacy.
-   Learn more about your team and organizational structures.
